It’s the right thing to do. Mine was caged almost a year ago and I’m glad of it now, no more pretending I was going to be able to satisfy anyone with it. It will shrink though but don’t be alarmed – my cage has been replaced twice with smaller models. It’s actually more comfortable if it’s in there tight.
