Want to get your stuff posted on SYTD but not sure how it works? This is your guide on how to do just that. It’s easy and you don’t need an account or anything. Check out the simple steps below to get started.
Submitting Your Content
Part 1: Visit the Submission Page.
One that page you’ll find a form with spaces for a Name, Email, Post Title and Post Content. We’ll explain those next because some are optional and we’ve had a ton of requests for a breakdown.
Part 2: Submission Form Breakdown
It’s as simple as filling out the spaces listed above and submitting but below is a breakdown of each area just so everything is crystal clear.
Name (Required): You can use anything you want here. It doesn’t have to be your legal name, it can be a nickname, a made up name or whatever you’d like. This does not show up when your submission goes live. So nobody will see it but us so we can find your post if you ever want it removed.
Email (Optional): It also doesn’t show up when your submission gets published and is only used so we can find your post if you need it removed.
Post Title (Required): Enter a brief description of your submission, a catchy title or whatever else you’d like. This does show up on the website when your post goes live. If you’re not sure what to use as a title, just enter something there and we’ll pick a title for you once we post it.
Post Content: This is where you can enter a longer description of your content, ask a question, write a confession, a story or anything you’d like to share on SYTD.
Part 3: Upload an Image
This is optional as well and works like any other website. Simply click the Browse or Choose File Button and select your image.
Why are images optional? We made images optional because some people want to be able to submit comments, questions and stories and may not have a photo to go along with it.
Part 4: Agree & Submit
Click the box to agree to the terms and then click Submit Post and you’re done!
